1. ENJOY THE WIDE BEAUTIFUL BEACH WITH GOLDEN SAND
Platamonas is one of the best destinations, within Pieria, for summer holidays and one of the main reasons is the wide golden sandy beach with shallow waters, also suitable for families, while here you will find large organized beach bars with umbrellas and sunbeds but also quiet corners, where you can enjoy the beach with your own equipment. 2. VISIT ONE OF THE MOST BEAUTIFUL VILLAGES IN GREECE, “OLD PANTELEIMONAS”

There is a parking space outside the village as no vehicles are allowed inside the narrow streets of the village.
3. HIKING:
Enjoy unique hiking routes, to the enchanting castle of Platamonas and enjoy the view against the background of the green hills and the blue sea. You can also follow the old railway line, which ends in a large tunnel (galeria), where you can also enjoy your swim, since at this point there is also an organized beach with a beach bar. Finally, head towards Mount Olympus and choose one of the marked paths starting from Litochoro or simply wander in nature!

For every season of the year, a visit to the mountain of the gods, Olympus, should always be in your plans. It is not necessary to reach the top, as in the winter months it may be too dangerous, but even a visit to the town of Litochoro, which spreads out at the foot of the mountain, is enough to feel the majesty of the massif!
